There was no way the pencil d!@% manifolds were going back on either my silver '91 or my black '90. Also, there was no way I was dropping 2 grand, so I began designing my own. Initially, I began thinking of a tubular design, but w/ all the problems exhibited over the original indestructable cast manifolds, I decided to go that direction. Things always take more time and money than you expect, but now after 9 months and $6000, the design, tooling, and production process is complete. We now move on to testing and marketing...the first time in 15 years, a high performance cast manifold for the 300ZX TT. The key feature that makes this work and my design so unique is the relocation of the rear 10mm head stud. This design succeeds to provide: *3 times the "collector" volume over stock *A smooth radius to maintain high velocities to turbine *Accessability to torque all 6 14mm head stud nuts. These pictures are linked at [ http://www.gfpusa.com/AAE.php ] Displayed are raw castings, installation w/ GT28R and stock (upgraded) turbos, final assembly, and a picture of the crazy designer/builder. Thanks for your interest, Jon Abeler, Abeler Automotive Engineering (AAE)
